A few weeks ago we received notice that we needed to send a staff member to Washington D.C. to help a 13-year-old boy travel to Omaha. Last minute travel arrangements are tough but we were excited to help him come to Omaha and be reunited with his mother. Our senior manager of programs, Jamal, flew to D.C. to escort him to his new home. The family was also excited to welcome him home. He is now reunited with his mom. Thanks for all of the support, Omaha, even in trying times there’s always good to be found.
